DIY

Ok, so since I bought an oversized vintage looking denim jacket from Urban Outfitters(Levi) I no longer wear my other one, so I decided to alter it slightly by using a pair off leggings that I bought from ebay that said one size, should have really said for girls with extremely short and skinny legs, those of which I do not have, so I decided to cut them up and sew on to my denim jacket, replacing the old sleeves, I was inspired by Rita Oras leather jacket from her music video for "How We Do" if you haven't seen or heard that song, you should definitely check it out! After a lot of blood, sweat and tears I am finally finished! Okkk...maybe not so much tears, but blood yes from the pins and sweat just because it has been so hot in Scotland recently! This photo is also on my Instagram, should give me a follow WendyRodger x

Passion.

I have danced literally all my life, it is a real passion of mine (as well as fashion) I mainly loved Freestyle Disco Dancing, the adrenalin of first dancing in your section to then waiting to hear your number being called for a call back to dance again! In 2008 I was in U16 starter and in the photo above is the costume I wore, I loved it, still do! My heart was pounding as every time it came round to my section I heard my number being called, it was always the last number being called, I can't remember what it was though... When it was results time and they said my names for first place, I was over the moon, I rarely ever got first places! To then I was told I had to dance again, against all the other winners of the Starters, I thought to myself this is it, you have came so far and worked so hard just go out there and dance your absolute best, and I did! My name was then called as the British Champion of 2008 in the section of Starters, I was against the very best and also against 2 other dancers from my dance school! I cried so much after that, my friend Leah had to take my trophy from me as I was shaking so much! You can achieve anything if you go for it, I will never forget that moment!

Proud sista!

I am a very proud sister, my brother left school with just one higher and now he has graduated from uni with a First Class Honours Degree in Sports Coaching and is now going on to do a Post Graduate course in P.E teaching (following in my mums footsteps) just shows you that anything is possible if you work hard, it will pay off eventually!
